Discover the Undiscovered...
Our forte is the Valtiberina (Tiber valley) region, which lies on the boundary
between Tuscany, Umbria, Emilia Romagna and Marche.
This part of Italy is not yet contaminated by the mass tourism, where high
streets are still very much dominated by the locals. Here you'll still be able
to find lively outdoor markets full of fresh local produce and high streets full
of local and characteristic shops.
Even if you choose to live in the green and quiet countryside, you will
reach the nearest town in 10 minutes where you would enjoy authentic
cappuccino and brioche at the bar in the morning, or join the locals for a
"passeggiata" (literally a walk, but it is more socializing as well as
window shopping with gelato in your hands!) in the romantic medieval
historic centre.
From the Valtiberina region all Tuscan touristy places such as Florence,
Chianti, Siena is 1 hr to 1 hr 30min drive. Beautiful Umbrian cities such as
Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio are also within an hour's reach.
The Adriatic coast is also only an hour away, where you may enjoy
Italian beach resort in the summer. However, the Valtiberina itself has a
lot to offer, from art (Piero della Francesca, Giotto), food (try white
truffle at Caprese Michelangelo!) to nature (being right at the foot of
the Appenines, this region offers variant nature and landscape in addition to
the picturesque typical "paesaggio dolce" (gentle landscape) of Tuscany).
